  9. System Requirements
  10. The astrology program operates on IBM-compatible personal computers 
  11. that have at least 256K RAM.  The color U.S. map, black & white 
  12. hi-resolution world map, and graphic chartwheel features require a 
  13. CGA or Hercules monographics card. 
  14.  
  15. Features
  16. *  Calculates the zodiac sign position of the ten planets, 
  17.    including the sun and moon, and the twelve house cusps for any 
  18.    date, time, and place; plus moon's nodes and Part of Fortune.
  19.  
  20. *  Accurate to within 1 minute for all planets for period 1800-
  21.    2000 A.D.; for distant time periods accurate to within several 
  22.    minutes for all planets except Pluto which is within 2 degrees.
  23.  
  24. *  Default for calculations is Tropical zodiac and Placidus house 
  25.    system; user can custom install program for Sidereal zodiac 
  26.    and/or the following house systems: Koch, Campanus, Equal 
  27.    House - Western Style, and Equal House - Eastern Style.

  30.    print to any printer; can redisplay chart as high resolution

  84.    CUSTOM95.COM program.  Includes preferred house system, preferred
  85.    zodiac, delta factor if sidereal zodiac is selected, whether to
  86.    treat the Ascendant, Midheaven, moon's nodes, or Part of Fortune
  87.    as planets in chart display/comparisons, the starting planet and
  88.    duration for the transits list, whether hardcopy should be output to
  89.    a file or the printer, and the colors of text screens.

  91. *  Ability to save one's personal registration code by entering once
  92.    in CUSTOM95.COM and automatically retrieving by pressing F1 at the
  93.    program registration screen.

  95. *  Added option for Equal House System - Eastern Style to produce 
  96.    output format that is traditional for customers from India.

  119.    Users can now customize the transits list so that the list starts
  120.    anywhere from the sun to Pluto.  The duration can be from one
  121.    to twelve months.

  123. *  Revised the documentation for the transits list to make it clear
  124.    that the longitude prompt is asking for the geographical longitude
  125.    where the subject now lives.

  127. *  The only option controlled at the Output Parameter Set-up screen
  128.    now is the initial chart display mode, i.e., whether tabular or
  129.    graphic format.  Even if the initial chart display mode is left
  130.    at the tabular default, graphic chartwheels can now be displayed

  170. Release 9.5 Fixes Since June, 1988

  172. *  On 386 machines the graphic chartwheel was not displaying and the
  173.    program sometimes refused to load.  Determined that this resulted
  174.    from the effect of EXEPACK on a segment close to its maximum size.
  175.    Reduced segment size by eliminating unnecessary code.
  176.  
  177. *  Speeded up the compatibility search.  Fixed to never add a value
  178.    for Ascendant or Midheaven aspects for persons with a birthtime
  179.    of PM and 0.  This last problem was causing primary and secondary
  180.    matches for the same pair to have different totals.
  181.  
  182. *  Cleaned up the File Utilities option to recreate the pointer file.
  183.    Will no longer create index to blank records at end of file.  Trim
  184.    spaces after first and last names.
  185.  
  186. *  Fixed problems with delta factor to sidereal zodiac - when minutes
  187.    were from 1 to 9 and when delta was negative and less than one
  188.    degree.
  189.  
  190. *  Made map cursor easier to see by changing it from point to arrow.

  192. *  Allow user to terminate a compatibility search before it is finished
  193.    by pressing the Escape key.

  195. *  Further reduced the program size to ensure chartwheel display on
  196.    386 machines.  Will work on most 386 machines; if not on yours then
  197.    your only alternative is to buy AstrolDeluxe for $59.00.

  199. *  Fixed a transit routine bug that could get the program in an infinite
  200.    loop if a transiting planet changed direction before contacting two
  201.    simultaneous aspects such as CJN 4th and OPP MC.
